We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. I can resist everything except temptation. The truth is rarely pure and never simple. To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all. A cynic is a man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught.
