Here you shall find all the great wonders and curiosities of the East—of the lands of the Saracens and the Tartars, of India, and of many another country. I, Marco Polo, set down what I saw with my own eyes, and what I heard from men of credit; so that our book may be exact, and without any sort of falsehood.
